About the Development
This project was made in Unity in about 6 months in a team of 8 as part of Algonquin College's Game Development Program in 2023.
As Lead Developer I was responsible for overall technical design, programming, gameplay mechanics (i.e., turn-based combat, platforming, inventory, crafting, resource collection, farming, shop running simulator, fishing minigame, etc.), physics, optimization, saving/loading, feedback, and many backend tools for designers. My contributions also extended into level design, animation, creating visual effects, making cinematics, and training my peers in Unity, C#, modeling, rigging, texturing, animation, and level design.

About the Game
Meep Morp Mania is a game that contains a mix of RPG, exploration, platforming, and simulation elements.
RPG elements are present within our turn-based battle system. Exploration and platforming elements are present when navigating the overworld. Simulation elements are found in aspects of farming, fishing, and managing your Meep Morp helpers around your farm and shop.

For ★ Meep Morp Mania - Alpha R4 (.zip): Unzip "MeepMorpMania_Alpha_R4.zip" and run "Meep Morp Mania Alpha R4_6.exe".
For Meep Morp Mania - Early Concept Prototype (.zip): Unzip "MeepMorpMania_Prototype.zip" and run "Meep Morp Prototype.exe".
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may prevent the game from launching normally. If so, click "More info" when "Run anyway".
